Acoustic laboratory
Alpine conducts various acoustic tests under extreme driving conditions and speeds of up to 200 km/h.
Realizing high quality sound inside a car which is constantly subjected to driving noise.
To achieve this we repeatedly perform simulations on a computer several times at the design stage and verify the appropriate layout of the parts so there is as little extraneous noise as possible.
Moreover, at the Evaluation Center, we perform various acoustic tests based on driving conditions using a car equipped with products in an acoustic chamber large enough to accommodate an actual vehicle.
To achieve the absolute best possible sound in an environment that is actually hostile to sound reproduction and is constantly affected by driving noises, we perform strict acoustic tests under various driving conditions in our large acoustic laboratory, which has ample space for an actual vehicle.
The highly reliable data gleaned from these tests are fed back to product development and are directly reflected in product improvements.
