Drive Assist Evaluation Center

Pursuing safety and comfort, because Alpine can do so

Drive Assist Evaluation Center

The Drive Assist Evaluation Center completed in October 2007 is a full-scale evaluation facility with a total area of 53,000 square-meters. The 900-meter test course circling the perimeter of the site features a 33° banking angle. The course is applicable to both right and left side traffic, can be used to reproduce traffic regulations, and is helpful in evaluating performance during high-speed cruising in different countries. It is equipped with evaluation environments that effectively simulate diverse conditions: narrow streets, tunnels, test buildings, etc. This extensive evaluation system was achieved through painstaking efforts to create numerous actual driving environments, and contributes to the development of products to help drivers travel safely and comfortably. In response to today’s growing demand for safer cars, our aim is to develop products with superior usability to support safe driving and to provide these to drivers worldwide.
