Establishment of Alpine Customer Service (USA), Inc.

Alpine Electronics, Inc. and its President Toru Usami are pleased to announce the establishment of Alpine Customer Service (USA), Inc. as of April 1, 2013. Alpine Customer Service (USA), Inc. is a local subsidiary of Alpine Electronics of America, Inc. and will perform product repair services for Alpine’s OEM products in the North American market. The company is based in Torrance, CA.

Until now, repair and maintenance of Alpine’s North American OEM products has been contracted to outside companies under the watch of Alpine. However, by bringing this work within the Alpine group, the company will be able identify the causes of problems and repair them more quickly. The company will also be able to partner with other existing customer service departments across the Alpine family to further improve overall customer satisfaction.

Alpine products have continued to evolve as car audio and navigation systems have become more advanced and complex. Recently, technology such as in-vehicle smartphone connection has become important in the market. Repair services for these advanced and complex systems require high level analysis and inspection technologies. Ultimately, addressing these needs within the Alpine group will enable the company to respond to customers in a faster and more dependable manner. In addition, the data that is gathered by Alpine Customer Service (USA), Inc. will provide feedback to the research and development departments which will help to improve quality, boost competitiveness, and increase corporate value.
