This event is the largest auto show in Indonesia, and a total of 361 companies presented exhibits this year. Japanese autos command a high share of the Indonesian market compared to other countries over the world, and the venue showed off a large number of Japanese cars. In addition, as for vehicle sales over the duration of the show, roughly 16,000 units had been reserved. The event was exceptionally popular and was crowded every day, attracting a total of 475,000 visitors, exceeding that of last year.

The Alpine Booth, with Alpine Style “Car by Car” as its theme, showed a Toyota Fortuner demo car. Attracting the greatest attention from visitors to the booth was a car-specific large-screen 8-inch navigation system as well as a car-specific large-screen 9-inch prototype AV system installed to the demo car. The sophisticated design of these large-screen car-specific systems, with their attractive appearance, gained high evaluation from the visitors.

Moreover, the booth featured car-specific navigation systems for the Alphard and Vellfire models, a top view camera, and the introduction of a 3-way speaker system. With car-specific front, side and rear cameras installed, along with a top-view camera, which allows 360-degree visual confirmation, as well as the 3-way speakers, enthusiastic visitors clamored for more information on the products.

n addition, demo boards showed off many components, including the latest CD receiver and roof-mounted overhead monitors—thrilling event goers with Alpine’s uniquely advanced system and premium sound.
