The Bangkok International Motor Show 2014, the largest motor show in the Asia-Pacific region, was held in Bangkok, Thailand for 14 days from March 24 to April 6, 2014. Held this year under the theme "Beauty in the Drive," it attracted a total of 1,770,000 visitors who crowded the site every day.


The Alpine booth was exhibited with the concept "Car by Car" and consisted of three main solutions. The first, the Happy Car Life Solution, used a Toyota Alphard demo car to present a dedicated, vehicle-specific system and to show off the beautiful installation. And many visitors were introduced to the attractive features of the 9-inch Car Solution, with a Toyota Camry equipped with the INE- Z928ETH WVGA navigation system and its large 9-inch screen, as well as the 8-inch Car Solution with a Suzuki Swift equipped with the ICS-X8 system, which utilizes MirrorLink and features extensive support for smart phones.


Under the theme "More Link More Fun", various navigation systems were shown, led by the INE-W957E that is compatible with TuneIt, which permits sound tuning using original smart phone applications from Alpine. Also on show was the CDE-154EBT, which delivers powerful bass and optimal in-car sound. The booth attracted the interest of visitors day after day by introducing many new products including rear monitors and multi-view camera systems, including the PCX-3500DSE which provides safe and pleasant driving.


Moreover, the Alpine Booth was honored with the Best Design Award in the Accessory Division for the third consecutive year. The beautiful design features of the booth coordinated with the Alpine corporate color blue, and the components used to express the "Car by Car" concept were praised by the visitors and event design experts, earning it this coveted award.
