The International CES (Consumer Electronics Show) was held from January 6 to 9, 2011 in Las Vegas, U.S.A. More than 2,700 companies from around the world took part, exhibiting many new products.
The Alpine booth introduced a full lineup of new 2011 products, everything from integrated audio-navigation systems to amplifiers, speakers, and drive assist cameras-demonstrating a world range of Mobile Media Solutions. Two models, the PXA-H800, a digital sound processor achieving premium sound, and the MRX-V60, a 5-channel X-Power digital amplifier, won the prestigious “Innovations Design and Engineering Awards”, showing off Alpine’s superior technological prowess.
Alpine also exhibited products equipped with innovative, popular functions as reference exhibits: a head unit compatible with both Pandora® Internet radio and SiriusXM satellite radio, and the active view camera which produces a sound and visually drivers to obstacles and obstructions right on the screen.
Inside the booth, a Camaro demo car equipped with the INA-W910 audio/video/navigation system was on display. Extremely easy to install thanks to its installation kit, it gave visitors the chance to experience the high sound quality of Premium Sound, based on a system incorporating the PXA-H800.
