This year, as always, Alpine was an active presence in major events worldwide, exhibiting in motor shows and electronics shows in many different countries. We showcased our products at the Paris Motor Show, the largest such event in Europe, Madrid in Spain, and Guangzhou in China. As an industry first, we brought the iPod into the car, providing portable music player users with the best possible in-car sound. We also showed our innovative entertainment system compatible with iPod Video (another industry first), and gained the rapt attention of visitors to Car + Sound 2006 (Sinsheim Show) held in Germany.
Domestically, we exhibited in a variety of events in Japan, where both car lovers and music lovers gather. With our attractive demo cars, we showed off our latest product lineup,including car audio head units that can be directly connected to the popular iPod player, a Super Fast Navi system with even more enhanced functions, a comprehensive rear-seat entertainment system with exceptional high-quality monitors and compatibility with Terrestrial Digital TV broadcasts, plus amplifiers and speakers boasting top-quality sound. Visitors were treated to an awesome glimpse into an exciting world of sound and visuals offered up by Alpine and its concept of "Driving Mobile Media Solutions."
