Alpine is strengthening the company's risk management in an effort to minimize diverse risks around the globe.
Strengthening Disaster Risk Management
Alpine maintains a permanent Disaster Action Headquarters to undertake relief measures against emergencies across the globe, including biannual safety inspections, risk assessments of disaster prevention systems, development of global risk management networks, and comprehensive disaster drills. These disaster drills are conducted at each company both at home and abroad in order to familiarize employees with emergency processes. Following the recent outbreak of pandemic influenza, Alpine gathered information on the state of infection outside of Japan and monitored the conditions of employees to devise countermeasures.

Business Continuity Plan (BCP)
Alpine is developing a business continuity plan designed to ensure the safety of our employees and their families, and to minimize risks to our customers, in the event of a large-scale earthquake, fire or other disaster.
We are also formulating an emergency response plan. Laying out initial response and operation restoration procedures, the plan will help protect employees and assure stable product supply in emergency situations.
Strengthening Information Security
In order to protect the company from information security risks, such as illegal access, computer viruses, and confidential information leaks, Alpine emphasizes information security training for employees and management staff, in addition to technological measures.

Information Security must also offer a high degree of convenience. Accordingly, Information Promotion Department is working diligently to establish information security that is convenient and safe by pushing forward highly comprehensive and reliable information security policies based on ISMS (Information Security Management System).
