Chairman's Message

We promote CSR to strengthen fiduciary relationships with stakeholders.

We are integrating CSR in a cross-sectional manner to ensure the transparency or visibility of activities.

Alpine has been carrying out independent activities under the RC Committee, Environmental Management Committee, and Disaster Action Headquarters. With increasing recognition of the importance of company risk management, we must clearly understand our commitment to Alpine to respond to unforeseen risks and to fulfill our social responsibility. Conventional systems in which issues were addressed individually must be reorganized into an integrated approach.
In fiscal 2006, we set up the company-wide CSR Committee to integrate CSR cross-sectional. This committee consists of four subcommittees — the Internal Control Project, the RC Committee, the Disaster Action Headquarters, and the Environmental Management Committee. We are reducing possible discrepancies among committees by mutually sharing awareness and perspectives while promoting collaborative efforts jointly with Alpine’s administration by addressing issues systematically.

Employee awareness of social responsibility indicates overall CSR success

An important element of CSR is having employees who support business growth while practicing social responsibility. Above all, it is important that each employee be clearly aware and act ethically in aspiring to good manufacturing or “MONOZUKURI” and social responsibility. Contributing to society through sincere conduct, we can build trust step by step. Combining these processes determines the success of Alpine’s CSR. We will continue to strengthen fiduciary relationships with stakeholders by firmly rooting CSR in the corporate culture.
