Alpine CSR is conducted under governance to ensure sound, efficient activities established through a coalition of Alps Group companies.
What is the Alps Group?
The Alps Group deals in three main lines of business: electronic components, audio equipment, and logistics. The parent company for each line of business is Alps Electric Co., Ltd., Alpine Electronics, Inc., and Alps Logistics Co., Ltd., respectively. Each is a listed company.
Alps Group Management System
With the founding spirit of Alps Precepts as the foundation of Group management and CSR, the Alps Group established the Alps Group Management Paradigm in May 2006, which consists of the Group Compliance Charter, Group Environmental Charter, and Group Management Regulations. The objective is to maintain individual company autonomy and independence while working closely together to display our collective strength. We work to create new values that serve both society and the environment, improving the corporate values of the Alps Group and contributing positively to society.
Alps Group CSR Promotion
By setting up the CSR Committee at each of its three companies, the Alps Group has established Group CSR promotion. Group companies and departments, in deploying CSR, have begun collaborating to discuss responses for 2006 Corporate Law amendments and to build internal Group control.
