The Car + Sound 2008 event was held for four days in Sinsheim, Germany from April 10 to13. This huge event—the largest car audio event in Europe—is held every year, and Alpine was on hand again. This year’s event was highly successful with attendance of 27,500 visitors.

The Alpine Booth displayed Alpine products under three concepts, “Take your iPod® for a Drive,” “IMPRINT Sound,” and “Perfect F.I.T.,”—under the umbrella theme of “Driving Mobile Media Solutions.” Many visitors enjoyed actually operating the head units and other products, gaining hands-on experience of Alpine’s sound quality.

We also showed off two demo cars in the booth. One, a FIAT 500 with “IMPRINT-Touch and Listen” as its concept, was equipped with the powerful IMPRINT Sound technology, and was highly praised by visitors.

We also displayed the IMPRINT RLS, a demo car based on the Mercedes Benz R500 and which is extremely popular in America. The IMPRINT Lounge where a MINI Coupe was displayed attracted many car audio fans searching for the most advanced sound technology, making it as great a success as the Alpine Booth.
