Eventgoers eagerly watch the informative stage presentation
The "smart fortwo" demo car attracted many visitors
The 40th Tokyo Motor Show was held at Makuhari Messe in Japan for a total of 17 days from Oct. 26 – Nov. 11. All told, there were about 1,430,000 visitors and it was a huge success.
In the Alpine booth, Daimler’s new model “smart fortwo” demo car was exhibited for the first time in Japan.
Many people stopped and eagerly took in the fascinating stage performance introducing the “easy and fastest map renew navi” Mobile Media Station X075 as well as the iDA-X001, a car audio system specially designed for iPod® – a presentation made powerful through the images shown in the large, curved LED screen and the dynamic live stage showcased in the demo car.
New products were also exhibited in the booth—including the Mobile Media Station 075 just released to the market in November, the Made for iPod® iDA-X001, and the PKG-2000 overhead monitor. Visitors could experience the functions and features by actually operating the products.
