The Auto Shanghai 2007 show was held from April 20 - 28, 2007 and Alpine was there exhibiting its lineup. This is one of the largest automobile-related events in China and is held once every other year. This year the show set a record attendance of over 500,000 visitors, the most ever in the history of the show.
The Alpine booth was located outdoors, and yet despite some days of bad weather, it enjoyed heavy traffic with many visitors—due in part perhaps to the eye-catching demo cars shown near the booth entrance.
Once inside the booth, visitors were treated to an impressive collection of Alpine’s new products for 2007. The exhibit focused on four main categories: “iPod Full Speed,” “IMPRINT Sound,” “Perfect F.I.T.,” and “Navigation and AV Systems.” The car audio system designed for iPod, iDA-X001 and the PMD-F100 portable navigation device made for the domestic China market garnered a lot of attention, and the booth was crowded with visitors who had the chance to actually try out the products.
In addition, two demo cars, the Mitsubishi Lioncel and Beijing Jeep’s Grand Cherokee, brought together Alpine’s sophisticated technology and set an exciting tone for the entire booth. The custom Lioncel was fitted with a comprehensive multimedia system, catching the attention of many visitors with its stylish appearance, complete body paint job, and a versatile, integrated combination AV/navigation system. The Beijing Jeep Grand Cherokee has been refitted as a showcase car for Alpine’s state-of-the-art IMPRINT Sound system—and visitors crowded around the car.
Throughout this popular event, Alpine gave many people first-hand experience with Alpine’s superior quality, advanced systems and cutting-edge innovations.
