Our comprehensive tests for display visibility simulate all possible angles and intensities of sunlight under various conditions.

We have a comprehensive lighting chamber in our Evaluation Center where we can test incoming light at a variety of angles and intensities. The solar simulator recreates the light shining into the car from dawn to dusk, and reproduces a broad range of light conditions characteristic of different regions, times and weather conditions.

All of us, at one time or another, have had trouble seeing the controls or monitor of an in-car system due to bright light shining in through the windshield or window. At our facilities, we recreate these lighting conditions and conduct thorough analyses on visibility and safety. Moreover, instead of subjective tests based on visual perception, we perform quantitative verifications based on hard data and scientific analysis.
